I picked up a paddle the way many good things begin—through a moment of openness, a shift in season, and a desire to invest in my wellbeing. When a space finally opened in my calendar, I found myself in a beautiful new nation taking lessons with an exemplary coach: a former University Head Tennis Coach who led champion teams for over 30 years and has now spent the past 8 years shaping players in the world of pickleball.

Those first lessons lit something up in me. Pickleball became more than a sport—it became a doorway into connection, flow, health, and community everywhere I travel.

Today, as a Royal Pickleball Ambassador, I share the gear I genuinely use and believe in.
