Do you lose the serve when you're spinning the ball off your paddle and mess up?

I can only really answer the question of spinning the ball off your other hand and not hitting it, etc. Spinning the ball off the paddle is illegal in some tours so I won’t go there. If you try to spin the ball off your hand and let it drop without hitting it, you can serve again. As long as it doesn’t hit the paddle you’re good!
