Do you lose the serve when you're spinning the ball off your paddle and mess up?

Expanding on the following question, what happens when you're going with a spin serve and spin the ball off your paddle face (as of right now this is legal) but the ball actually takes off and lands on your half of the court without you being able to actually hit it. Do you lose the serve or do you calmly walk over, pick up the ball and serve again?

I can only really answer the question of spinning the ball off your other hand and not hitting it, etc. Spinning the ball off the paddle is illegal in some tours so I won’t go there. If you try to spin the ball off your hand and let it drop without hitting it, you can serve again. As long as it doesn’t hit the paddle you’re good!&nbsp;
